The Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) required consulting services regarding SIA’s collaboration with Changi Airport Group (CAG) on the development of Changi East Terminal 5 (T5). The Dornier team advised on issues relating to the development of T5, in particular on various options regarding the terminal, airfield, cargo/commercial area and processes that the airport authorities discussed with SIA.
The initial capacity of T5 is expected to be around 50 million passengers per year, with plans to increase annual capacity to 70 million passengers per year, which will exceed the current combined capacity of Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
