Singapore Airlines Group commissioned us to provide advisory services as part of its strategic collaboration with Changi Airport Group for the development of the new Changi East Terminal 5. We supported our client in evaluating and further developing key planning options for the terminal, particularly regarding the terminal concept, airfield layout, cargo and commercial areas, and operational processes aligned between the airport operator and the airline.

With an initial planned capacity of approximately 50 million passengers per year and the potential to expand to up to 70 million passengers annually, Terminal 5 will ultimately exceed the combined capacity of Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
