Project Management Office – Transfer of Berlin Tegel Airport to its owners

With the opening of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in October 2020, flight operations at Berlin-Tegel Airport were discontinued. After a defined transition phase, the areas contractually used by the airport operator were to be returned to their owners – the State of Berlin and the Federal Republic of Germany. The aim of the project was to establish a defined condition that would serve as the basis for the formal return. Dornier was responsible for the overall planning, management, monitoring and implementation of sub-projects and measures.
