Lufthansa Cargo AG (LCAG) is planning the redevelopment of the Lufthansa Cargo Center (LCC), which was constructed in the mid-1970s and has already reached its capacity limits in parts. In this context, a project was initiated to develop various scenarios for the future positioning of LCAG.
Due to the structure of the cargo facility currently used by LCAG (cargo halls with an additional office wing), the redevelopment affects both the operational areas (cargo halls) and the administrative spaces. The gradual demolition of the existing buildings prior to the construction of the new LCC is unavoidable.
