Project management at Hamburg Airport

With around 13 million passengers and 172,000 flight movements annually, Hamburg Airport is the fifth largest airport in Germany. In order to meet the upcoming challenges posed by increasing traffic volumes and the space required for infrastructure and operational services, it is imperative that existing reserve areas be put to use. The upcoming measures were defined in a development plan for Hamburg Airport (‘HAM NEXT’). This document contains the strategy for the further development of the entire airport until 2020.
