With approximately 13 million passengers and 172,000 flight movements per year, Hamburg Airport is the fifth-largest airport in Germany. In order to accommodate increasing traffic volumes and the growing demand for space for infrastructure and operational services, existing reserve areas had to be brought into use. The “HAM NEXT” development plan defined the required measures and established the strategic framework for Hamburg Airport’s further development through 2020.
Dornier assumed overall project management and provided professional, commercial, and administrative support to Hamburg Airport in its development.
