Energy measurement on the turbine set in the Schwarze Pumpe power station, Block A

Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG operates a power plant in Schwarze Pumpe with a nominal electrical output of 2 x 800 MW. Dornier Power and Heat was commissioned to carry out a measurement to determine the specific heat consumption at the Block A turbine set after the overhaul. The aim was to demonstrate the performance-enhancing effects of an ND turbine retrofit. Approximately 120 test measuring points were measured using exclusively calibrated precision measuring technology. The pressure and temperature measuring devices were calibrated in Dornier Power and Heat’s own calibration laboratory. The results of the evaluation were presented to the client in a summary report.
