Consulting services for the update of the Saudi Railway Master Plan (SRMP)

The main objective of the SRMP project is to develop a strategic railway development plan for the future passenger and freight network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), including the strategies and measures required to implement the plan. In addition, a business strategy for the railway and an economic assessment for a network of approximately 10,000 km were required.

Following the implementation of the initial SRMP, Dornier was responsible for updating the railway development plan to align the SRMP with Vision 2030 and the new national transport strategy, incorporating key development projects such as NEOM and Al Ula.
