Revision of the generator in Ludwigsfelde

MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg, based in Ludwigsfelde, specialises in aircraft engines in the low to medium thrust and power range as well as industrial gas turbines. The Ludwigsfelde site has one of the world’s largest and most modern test benches for industrial gas turbines. A generator is used as a load element to check that a gas turbine is functioning correctly after overhaul.

The scope of the contract included project and construction management, secondary protection testing with our own test equipment, and quality assurance for the tests specified in the scope of services on the generator installed on site.
