Technical Due Diligence (TDD) of Solar and Wind Portfolio in Germany

Dornier has been requested by the Client to submit a proposal for technical due diligence (TDD) of the projects in the portfolio. The portfolio contains 27 projects located across Germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Sachsen, Bayern, Sachsen-Anhalt, Hessen, Baden-Württemberg), of which 13 are standard ground mounted solar PV projects (no Agri-PV) and 14 are onshore wind projects at various development stages:

• 3 Ready-to-build (RtB) projects (2 solar PV and 1 onshore wind)
• 11 at advanced development stage, expected to reach RtB in 2025 (9 solar PV & 2 onshore wind)
• 13 projects at mid-development stage, expected to reach RtB in 2026 or 2027 (2 solar PV & 11onshore wind).

The objective is to conduct a red-flag technical due diligence analysis of the project’s technical and commercial feasibility, their development status, and their constraints. For the 3 RtB-projects and the 11 projects at the advanced development stage, a detailed TDD will be performed and the results presented in an Excel and a report format.

Further, for the 2 PV projects at RtB stage, a site visit will be conducted to validate the analysis of the documentation provided. For the 13 projects at the mid-development stage, a high-level TDD will be performed and the results presented in an Excel table highlighting the main red flags identified.
