The project was implemented as part of the Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine (ISU) project, which supported selected cities in designing an integrated urban development concept as part of the development of German-Ukrainian cooperation. The ISU project made a significant contribution to the central reform of the Ukrainian government, particularly to decentralisation and the introduction of local self-administration.
Dornier supported the two Ukrainian cities of Poltava and Zhytomyr in the development of sustainable urban mobility plans and the implementation of infrastructure projects. The aim of the project was to improve planning and implementation capacities in the field of integrated urban development, with a focus on the mobility sector.
