With nearly 28 million passengers in 2014, Berlin was the third-largest airport location in Germany. To meet this capacity demand, the new Berlin Brandenburg “Willy Brandt” Airport was constructed, concentrating all air traffic in the German capital region in the southeast of Berlin.
In this context, the management of the Berlin airports required expert support in developing a new organizational structure. The objective was to increase efficiency and profitability while optimizing business processes across all airport departments.
