The objective of the project was to develop effective measures to reduce the high levels of nitrogen dioxide pollution in Bremen. Dornier was responsible for the “Autonomous Mobility” workstream and supported the development of a concrete catalogue of measures.

The focus was on designing pilot measures in the field of automated and autonomous driving, both in freight transport and public transport. The proposed measures were evaluated in terms of their contribution to emission reduction and their alignment with the transport policy objectives of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen in public and individual transport.
