The project involves planning and construction supervision for the first phase of a pilot project for the storage and recovery of drinking water in an aquifer (Artificial Storage and Recovery – ASR), which is being carried out in south-east Dubai. The pilot project comprises 16 injection/withdrawal wells, which will be operated and tested over a period of 12 months with several injection and recovery cycles in order to optimise the planning for the subsequent large-scale project.
