The new Berlin-Marzahn cogeneration plant will be a natural gas-fired gas and steam turbine power plant with district heating extraction. At the heart of the plant is an SGT5-2000E gas turbine.

From 2020, the new cogeneration plant will simultaneously supply electricity and district heating to eastern Berlin. The plant will have an electrical output of 260 MW and a thermal output of around 230 MW.

Dornier Power and Heat is supporting the client in the tendering process, the provision of connection points, planning, quality assurance, CHP subsidies and acceptance.
