At the KNG Rostock hard coal-fired power plant, Dornier Power and Heat’s ISO 17025-accredited materials testing laboratory conducts regular metallographic examinations of components to assess creep damage as part of lifetime monitoring. Additionally, endoscopic inspections are performed on components selected by the client by certified VT2 inspectors. The results are documented in a dedicated lifetime database.
