Project management for Terminal A-Plus at Frankfurt Airport

To expand the existing Lufthansa Terminal to the west, a new terminal (Terminal A-Plus) was constructed with eight aircraft stands for A380 aircraft and up to sixteen aircraft stands with passenger boarding bridges for A320 aircraft. The expansion also included the construction of a new check-in hall, a new arrivals area, and a new baggage handling system. For this purpose, part of the Lufthansa base was demolished and rebuilt.

Dornier assumed project management responsibility for the expansion while the airport remained fully operational.
